The Recruitment Co are recruiting an exceptional Finance Manager to work with their client based in Dundee.

Contract: Permanent full time

**Salary**: £30,000 - £45,000

Location: Dundee West

Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.30, Friday 07.30-14.00

Role and responsibilities:

- To oversee and manage the Accounts department.
- Weekly sales invoicing, adjusting where necessary.
- Check stock reports and export information.
- Deal with customer queries.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, company accounts, sales ledger and purchase ledger.
- Check time and attendance daily for any anomalies.
- Oversee the processing of weekly wages and process monthly payroll.
- Upload weekly & monthly pension contributions.
- Credit control.
- Produce supplier cheque runs.
- Attend monthly board meetings and distribute minutes to board members.
- Calculate and adjust monthly accruals, prepayments, creditors and debtors etc.
- Produce monthly management accounts and cash forecasts.
- Product and check VAT returns.
- Cash flow preparation.
- Produce annual profit and loss budget.
- Setting up new customers.
- Reconcile processing charges.

What we are looking for:

- Proven previous experience in a finance/office management role.
- Competent in managing multiple tasks and assignments at once.
- Proactive and forward thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competent with financial/sales ledger software such as Sage Line 50.
- Experience with Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Open to additional working hours during periods of peak activity.
