Maintenance Craftsperson

An opportunity has arisen within the Estates Department at Queen Margaret and Lynebank Hospitals, and the West Fife Sector for the appointment of Maintenance Craftsperson (Mechanical). You should have completed an appropriate recognised apprenticeship and will work within a multi disciplined team. The duties involve a wide range of building services and mechanical maintenance and repair tasks. Previous experience operating/ maintaining heating and ventilation systems, LPHW boiler plant, controls, air compressors and pumps is required. Knowledge of H&V controls and building management systems would be an advantage.
You will have worked within the health service profession or similar size organisation and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of building services and/or building construction, also specialist systems unique to the health service.
