**Your new company**
This exciting newly formed organisation offers an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Finance Manager and Company Secretary on a part time basis to deliver on their strategic vision of the future
**Your new role**
Working closely with the commercial lead you will be responsible for the organisations finances, managing budgets, supporting commercial contract negotiation and maintaining effective financial controls. You will be responsible for the statutory reporting aswell as corporation tax and VAT returns.
As Company Secretary you will prepare papers for board meetings, ensure statutory policies are maintained and liaise with relevant external bodies to ensure compliance.
The organisation is small in terms of staff, but large in terms of visibility and responsibility, and you will be dealing in a Political environment with many senior stakeholders.
**What you'll need to succeed**
As a small but growing organisation, with a board consisting of Chief Executives and Senior Directors from many organisations, you must be able to work within a political environment. At the same time the role requires hands-on accounting from ledgers to statementof accounts.
You must be a qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA with proven experience and
- ability to work under your own initiative
- working within regulatory frameworks
- prepared to do tasks at all operational levels
- sufficient gravitas to engage with multi-disciplinary board members

**What you'll get in return**
The role is expected to be part time, and offers 2 - 3 days a week dependant on experience and availability. One day a week is expected to be on-site.
