Job Introduction
**Housing Officer**

Full time, permanent - 37 Hours per week.

We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our Housing team in a busy housing office.

The team is responsible for delivering housing services across Poole and you would have your own neighbourhood 'patch'. Your duties will include dealing with anti-social behaviour, tenancy management and general estate management. You will work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to provide the best service to residents.

**Essential**:

- Previous experience of working with the public face to face in difficult situations
- Previous experience of managing social housing
- Knowledge of measures to prevent and deal with anti-social behaviour
- Knowledge of the importance of safeguarding of vulnerable people
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Commitment to high levels of customer care

**Desirable**:

- Previous local government experience
- Chartered Institute of Housing Qualified
