Hainsworth has operated from Stanningley near Pudsey for more than 200 years, making a wide range of largely woollen têxtile products to exacting specifications for global customers. We have an established presence in a range of markets including cloth for cue sports tables, fire-and-flame protective clothing, blankets, uniforms and a multitude of others.

**Textiles - Knotter
- ( Weaving )**

Job Purpose:
To prepare the looms to the correct specifications prior to weaving thereby ensuring the highest quality woven fabrics are produced in accordance with pre-planned schedules that guarantee lead times and customer demands are met.

About You
- You'll have experience as a Knotter or at the very least have worked within têxtiles with a good understanding of other functions such as weaving, crealing, beaming or similar.
- Have a good eye to detail and be able to follow warp plans & patterns.
- Be able to spot yarn defects and have a good overall knowledge of weaving processes.
- Be quality focussed

About The Job
- You will join as a Knotter to work on our various types of looms.
- Your role will involve changing warp beams and knotting new warps into the looms using our knotting machines, ending up & down and re-sleying.

Schedule:

- Day shift: 7.30 - 4 pm Monday - Thursday and Friday - 7.30 - 1pm
- Rotating Shift: Week 1, 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday and Week 2, 2pm - 12md Monday to Thursday

**Experience**:

- Knotting or Weaving: 2 years (preferred) but not essential as full training will be given.

**Salary**: To be confirmed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.17-£16.38 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
