**Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter**

**Walsall**

**Salary - £26,500 - £33,100 per annum - depending on skills and experience**

**Contract type - Permanent**

**Working hours - Full Time**

**About the role**

You will need to_ _ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.

**About you**

You need to have the ability to undertake a range of planned and responsive maintenance works, repairing, replacing and maintaining properties to a high standard.

You need to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.

You need to refurbish the properties including; kitchens, bathrooms, disabled adaptations, roofs, communal areas and community buildings.

You need to be able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.

You must have the ability to set out work from drawings and specifications, and requisition materials.
