Gym Instructor

Bridlington's Exclusive Health & Fitness Club is looking to recruit x2 Fitness Instructors & Leisure Attendants. Casual roles available, covering sickness and annual leave when available. You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with an keen interest in the leisure & fitness industry. As part of your role within the club, you will be an ambassador for the brand, so applicants who actively peruse a fit & healthy lifestyle are highly preferable. You will be responsible for tasks such as:
1.) Maintaining and setting up equipment, checking it is not damaged and is safe to use.

2.) Supervising adults & teenagers using equipment.

3.) Challenging troublemakers, if necessary excluding them and dealing with complaints.

4.) Assisting with any accidents that occur and giving first aid where needed.

5.) Overseeing, tidying and cleaning all areas of the club as required.

6.) Charging admission, taking bookings, handling cash, answering the phone & social media requests.

7.) Monitor and maintain the water quality in the pool & spa, and check equipment such as heating or ventilation units, filters and pumps.

8.) Selling drinks, retail or supplements when required.

9.) Selling & advising on memberships.

10.) Any other tasks required by the business or management.

Availability for weekend & evening work is highly essential. Shifts are usually 8 - 10 hours depending on the weekday/weekend shift
