**Sports Coach - ASAP start - £70 - £75 per day - Bristol**

Teaching Personnel are actively seeking a **sports coach** to support a specialist academy in the Bristol. The school are looking for a sports coach that can **work full-time and start asap**. You will be paid **£70 - £75 a day**

The role of Sports Coach is to deliver high quality PE sessions throughout the school. To inspire and enthuse all pupils, especially the disadvantaged, to achieve success academically and live and lead active lifestyles. It will also involve delivering andmonitoring a co-ordinated programme of high quality extra-curricular, professional coaching activities which are progressive and reflect the needs of young people within the school. Linking the curriculum, community and club provision, the role will provideincreased opportunities for children to access extra-curricular activities to support their learning. Our Sports Lead and Behaviour mentor will also work to provide in class support and nurture to support the needs of our children

The school supports students from **KS1 to KS5**who have **SEMH** (social, emotional mental health) needs, **speech and language** needs and **autism**. They are looking for someone who has experience either professionally or personally supporting well-being and behavioural needs previously, as the pupils have come from an extremely vulnerable background and have multiple trauma-baseddifficulties that they struggle to cope with on a daily basis.

**The ideal Mentor -**
Available to work on a full-time basis
Come from a sports, care or education background
Confident with pressured situations
Knowledge of supporting challenging behaviour

This is a temporary position with the potential to go permanent
