Weekend Sweeper Operative

**Are you wanting to make a difference to your local communities, keeping our recreational areas safe and clean as part of our new weekend team?**

Based at one of our depots (Crossborough Hill / Eastrop Lane or Wade Road), you will have cleansing duties working across various locations in the Borough, working hours between 06:00 and 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Roles include working as Sweeper and Cleansing Operatives who are responsible for both manual and mechanical sweeping and street cleansing like litter picking/bin emptying. The role can also include Grounds Maintenance such as grass cutting, cemetery maintenance and opening/closing pavilions. As a Cleansing r Operative, you will need to have a full UK driving licence and Sweeper Operatives must have a licence to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes.

This is new team and will provide opportunity for you to really make a difference as part of the operational team, keeping Basingstoke and Deane _a happy place to live and work._

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13,536.00-£14,054.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 per week
