Thornbury, United Kingdom XPress Legal Services Full time

**Property Search Administrator**

Thornbury, Bristol

Can you deal with ten things at once?

If you can, and you really are detail conscious, this could be the ideal opportunity for you

Exciting opportunity to learn new skills within the property search industry

X-Press Legal Services is a leading provider of data to the conveyancing industry. Our clients are law firms and legal professionals, handling the sale of property and land, who demand the highest standards of accuracy and integrity from us, delivered within exacting timescales. Our Head Office is based in Birchwood, Warrington, and we have 25 franchises located throughout England and Wales.

Our Thornbury office is now expanding and we are ready to grow our existing small, friendly team. We support each other and are looking for someone that can fit in and work hard with us.

A willingness to take on routine is essential. This is an exciting role, where your ideas and input will shape the future of this business. You will be working on the frontline, alongside our Managing Director and the team, to provide our clients with a first-class service.

The Role

The role will involve validating plans and information against computer websites, ordering checking and compiling property search reports, and capturing and data inputting, plus general admin duties. Progression will be towards becoming a conveyancing searcher. This will involve visiting various council departments and transcribing information by hand, so you’ll need to be able to build good relationships with a wide range of people and to have legible handwriting. Don’t worry if you don’t have previous experience, as we’ll provide full training.

There will also be an opportunity to progress towards assisting with quotes for more complex work, liaising with clients to ensure quotes are accurate and reports recommended meet their needs.

A minimum two years’ experience working in an office environment is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, good IT and organisational abilities, together with a confident but friendly telephone manner.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, planning skills, and be self-motivated and able to work well in a small team.

A small amount of local travel is required in this role, and you will have access to a company car for this purpose. Therefore, you must have a full and clean UK driving licence with at least 12 months’ driving experience.
