Leather Sewing Machinist

BKS manufactures the finest bespoke leather motorcycle suits in the UK for most of the British Police as well as race and sport suits for professionals and members of the general public.

We have a requirement for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Exmouth, Devon.

We are offering 3 month trials for you to demonstrate your ability and succeed as a full time suitmaker on a permanent basis.You will be required to work within the Sewing Department stitching cut parts into complete sections then complete garments.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
To stitch as per instructions/training.

To sew cut parts into complete garments referencing drawings, templates, work instructions and/or samples.

To maintain your sewing machine and immediate work area.

The hours are Monday to Friday with flexitime hours. The workshop opens around 7am and closes around 5pm giving you options of how you work your 8 hours each day (40 hours per week).

**Salary**: £21,673.60-£22,000.00 per year
