Edm Machinist

Metalis are currently supporting a subcontract CNC machining company who are looking to add an EDM Wire Machinist to their team. You will be working on Mitsubishi control systems.

**This is a Days regular shift operating on the pattern below**:
**_Monday - Thursday_**_ - 07.30am until 4.00pm
**Friday** - 07.30am until 3.00pm - Friday

Role Outlined**:
You will be working on a Mitsubishi controlled EDM Wire PSO Machine. **Daily Duties**:

- Machining a wide variety of precision components for all industries, including tooling, aerospace, and Oil & Gas
- The role will involve setting and operating the EDM machines
- You will be involved with small batch work and medium runs
- You will be using all material types including harder metals/alloys
- Basic inspection duties will be required

**Skills Required**:

- Experience working on EDM Wire machines.
- Apprentice trained engineer would be desirable.
- Mitsubishi control experience would be advantageous.
- Experienced in other areas of a machine shop - milling and turning would be advantageous but not essential.
- The use of verniers and measuring equipment is desired
