We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced **CNC Programmer, Setter and Operator** to join our client based in **West Bromwich, Birmingham.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Program, set up and operate CNC machines to meet production requirements
- Produce products to specified quality standards
- Visually check cutting tools and materials prior to commencing work and replacing tools required
- Report any defects in materials where appropriate
- Ensure that working area is kept clean and tidy
- Operating machines safely and competently in accordance with manufacturers operating instructions
- Operating machines as requested including edge bander, panel saw, flatbed CNC router
- Review, understand and comply with Health & Safety policy
- Use CAD & CAM Software to draw & set out, detail and program machinery
- Work alongside programming team and production team
- Monitor machine performance and identify ways to improve efficiency and productivity
- Work with other team members to optimize production processes

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience with flatbed CNC router operations, edge bander machine and panel saw machine
- Ability to draw and set out
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good technical knowledge of CNC machines and their operation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, **7:30am to 4pm**

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is **£28,000 to £35,000 per annum**, based on experience and qualifications.
