This vacancy for a Finance Manager is a newly created role. Supporting the Finance Director and Financial Controller, the aim of the role is to ensure accuracy in financial reporting as well as compliance with all statutory obligations. Currently going throughan aggressive growth plan, the role will be pivotal in producing monthly management and recording accurate financial transactions.

Duties will include:

- Managing a team of 2, supporting and training to develop your team
- Processing monthly management accounts transactions
- Preparing and posting journals for prepayments and accruals into SAGE
- Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
- Profit and Loss Reports
- Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Reviewing of overheads and investigation of material variances
- Daily multi-currency bank reconciliations
- Overseeing Purchase Ledger and assisting when needed
- Assisting with the annual audit
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Full ownership of Fixed Asset Register, Calculations and postings of Depreciation. Additions and Disposals
- Inter-company account reconciliations and recharges
- Knowledge on exchange rates and month end currency re-val
- Project costings and spend analysis, making sure Sage and Excel balance and revenue and costs policy is followed for all projects
- Updating cashflow daily; ensuring data is collected timely from traders and plotted prior to transactions happening
- Preparing payment runs for authorisation
- Commission calculations, ensuring projects are reconciled and closed for each.
- Housekeeping of data entry, correcting any mis-postings
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong accountancy skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a finance function
- Experience with Sage
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Ability use initiative as well as a desire to learn and progress
- Dynamic and ability to work under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
