The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways are two of the UK's most popular heritage railways, located in the heart of picturesque Snowdonia. Spooner's is our main catering outlet situated on Harbour Station in Porthmadog, delivering a high level of service throughout the day.

We are looking for an experienced Bartender & Cellar Person for Spooner's CAMRA award-winning bar.

**We can offer you**:

- £12.00 per hour dependant on experience
- Permanent contract to start June 2024

**Core Skills**:

- Experience of working in real ale bars
- A thorough knowledge of Cellar Management
- An interest in the drinks industry and knowledge of Cask Ales, Wine and Cocktails
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work cleanly and tidily
- A basic knowledge and understanding of food and kitchen hygiene is desirable

The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage as would knowledge of the railways, their passengers and the local economic market.

Applicants for this position must be aged 18 or over and have the existing right to work in the UK.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
