**About the Role**

To lead in support of the Facilities Manager County Accommodation Projects in delivering a wide range of accommodation change projects across the county. These include building closures, redesign works, transitional works to ensure premises are continually aligned to the needs of the council in terms of the team structures and service delivery functions. To deliver projects in line with the property strategy work streams and priorities ensuring suitable and sufficient workspaces are available as required, that are compliant for occupation, and to ensure timely delivery for vacant possession to support estates marketing and sales activity.

**Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities**
- To design, develop, manage, and deliver accommodation and facilities management projects which support the organisation's service delivery plans and, consistent with the county council's accommodation planning including new ways of working strategy, property rationalisation strategy and linked to the organisation's digital strategy.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to brief and induct occupiers into the operational aspects of buildings prior to occupation or during any change at sites for existing occupiers. This requires strong communication skills and the ability to use sound judgement when dealing with unforeseen problems.
- Liaise with Digital Services and input to Programme of work for development of IT provision to sites and ensure accurate programming as part of accommodation programme of works to maintain business continuity.
- Determine the level of facilities services for example, CCTV, car park management systems, access control, conferencing equipment etc., in line with corporate standards and ensuring roll out of policy and legislative requirements across all sites.
- To assist in developing building policy and procedures and develop bespoke FM service delivery procedures depending on activity of the building prior to hand over to the operational teams and in liaison with the Facilities Operations & Compliance Managers.
- Maintain regular communication updates on FM Accommodation programme development and take responsibility for managing risks and ensuring governance of projects throughout complex programmes of delivery.
