Accounts Assistant

SO Resources are currently working with a haulage company that been established for over 50 years based in Bedale. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Responsible for both sales and purchase ledger you will be expected but not limited to the below duties.
- Credit control
- Process daily bank postings and allocating customer receipts
- Process and code purchase invoices using SAGE 50
- Preparing and processing weekly & monthly supplier payment run on the bank
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and credit card statements
- Reconcile any differences identified by liaising with colleagues
- Provide assistance where required within the accounts team
- Assisting with annual external audit

AAT qualification or equivalent experience would be desirable.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- Bedale: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
