Customer Services Team Leader

The purpose of the Customer Services Team is to co-ordinate the planning, monitoring and delivery of the ‘customer experience’ focusing on front of house delivery to all internal and external stakeholders and customers. Its core purpose will be to drive synergies of practice across the entire Estate and Facilities Management Service, managing customer experience, governance and operational safety, bringing coherence via Business Partnering to how activity relates to broader institutional objectives. It will drive connectivity to faculties, schools and departments to support academic and professional service delivery

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered through mentoring; fulfilling additional tasks in the planning, organisation and delivery of customer services across reception desks. You will line manage, allocate workload to the Customer Services Team and prioritise tasks, ensuring all parts of the service are operational at agreed times.

The Team Leader role is an operational role that will work across multi-sites, playing a key part in developing the front line service and team members.
