**The role**

The purpose of this job is to carry out compliance related property inspections covering our whole stock portfolio. It also involves being heavily involved in the preparation and delivery of compliance related investment works. In addition, you will undertake a variety of on-site and office-based activities that help support the delivery of our Asset Compliance Management Plans. There is limited financial responsibility for this role. This role does not have any line management responsibilities.

The role is hybrid with working pattern of 2 days on site and 3 days from home. You’ll be based at one of our main offices in either Croydon, Maidstone, or Sittingbourne, with the option for working in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.

**What you need**
- Knowledge of building related compliance issues, demonstrable through a relevant qualification and work experience
- Experience of working in a surveying, maintenance, or stock reinvestment environment
- Experience of collecting stock data within the asset database.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and be able to use handheld technology to enter survey data. Numerate, with good analytical skills
- Understanding of current building regulations and Approved Codes of practice.
- Qualification in a relevant compliance related field or building surveying.
