**Salary**: £15 - £16 p/h (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Role type: Permanent
I am currently working with a well-established client who is one of the North West's leading engineering, fabrication and machining companies. They are now looking to add enthusiastic individuals to their team due to the business expanding. At this time thereis an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented CNC Programmer/Miller to work on site in Chorley.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable CNC Programmer/Miller, who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.
Essential Requirements
- A strong communicator who will be able to integrate into and support a successful team
- Must be time served with post qualification experience in a technical machining background
- Ability to program HAAS, Heidenhain controls
- Knowledge and good usage of Cad programming software.
- Highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality is essential
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
- Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
- A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of Fusion 360 Programming software
- Knowledge/experience in CNC manufacture e.g., water jet cutting, laser cutting, CNC lathes
- A basic understanding of using CAD design software
- Forklift truck operator trained
- Driving License
