Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a leading business based in the Wakefield area as they look to bring on board a Standalone Payroll professional.

This is an exciting position that would suit an experienced individual with a sound knowledge of the end to end payroll process for both weekly and monthly paid employees, along with pensions administration and query management.

**Key duties**:

- Inputting starter and leaver information
- Updating and maintaining salary information
- Processing maternity, unpaid leave, car allowance and holiday pay
- Managing the T&A system
- Preparing and issuing payslips, P45's and P60's
- Dealing with all aspects of auto enrolment
- Administer pension changes
- Ensuring legislation is always adhered to
- Answering all payroll/pension related queries
- Payroll reporting
- & much more (as per full job description)

**Person specification**:

- 3+ years experience processing the end to end payroll
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong systems skills including MS Office
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation
- Ability to resolve complex payroll queries
- CIPP qualification - desirable
