CNC Machinist

**Job Description: CNC Machinist**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Skelmersdale, United Kingdom.

This opportunity would suit a CNC Turner or Miller with Setter/Programmer experience looking for career progression in a respected and established company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate Manual and CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform regular maintenance on machines to keep them in good working order
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines
- Knowledge of programming and Setting CNC machines
- Experience with Lathes, Milling machines and Borers
- Fanuc experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

**Pay and Shifts**:

- Monday-Friday 39 hours
- Overtime available
- Weekly pay
- £15ph starting
- Depending on Experience
