We are looking for a Domiciliary Care Worker (car drivers and walkers) to join our team in Gosforth and surrounding areas.

Drivers are not essential to the post but would be an advantage.

**Salary**: Starting at £9.78 -£11.10 per hour plus enhancements for bank holidays, travel time and mileage payments.

**Hours of Work**:Split Shifts - 7am-11pm
- Monday to Sunday - including where possible alternate weekends and evening work.

**Domiciliary Care Worker Duties**:

- Confidently support people in a person-centred way
- Carry out personal care including bathing and toileting support
- Manage medication
- Assist people into the community using public transport
- Attend training and team meetings
- Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required

**Domiciliary Care Worker Requirements**:

- Previous work experience in home care / residential care / hospital care
- Literate in spoken and written English
- Able to follow instructions on both written and electronic care plans
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills as described in the main responsibilities
- Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable, but not essential)

Lincoln Healthcare Group is a well-established community care provider based in Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne who is commissioned by Newcastle City Council and the NHS to complete calls to people throughout the day and evening.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Ex-Offenders Act alongside exemption from the Equality Act.
