Concept Resourcing is delighted to be working with a growing technology business, based in Yorkshire to recruit a Bid Manager/Writer, in a newly created role.

You will be working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring all prospective Bids and Tenders are written articulately and in a timely fashion to ensure the organisation continues to win profitable and high value business across Public and PrivateSector customers.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this role will play pivotal part in the continued growth strategy of the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

- To provide support as part of pre-sales within the Sales and Marketing team in the completion and management of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and other solicited/unsolicited tender processes, ensuring the business strategyand positioning is clearly articulated in a professional manner
- Seek the support of a wide-ranging mix of personnel to assist in the response preparation
- Undertaking day to day project management of allocated pre-qualification and tender submissions, including administration of the bid process from contract notice through to document production, submission, and contract award
- Completion of bid response matrices and ensuring all aspects of the bid are completed in line with the tender instructions and requirement
- Ability to work on multiple responses, often with tight time scales
- Developing a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures, especially within the public sector
- Access tender portals for clarification questions and answers, response preparation and submission
- Maintain visibility of tender opportunities and alert the business to new, potential opportunities
- Obtain information for the business with regards to win/loss analysis

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills set:

- Previous experience in Bid Writing, you must be able to write the story
- Sound understanding or previous experience within Procurement
- Excellent written skills
- Strong verbal communicator
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Comfortable with change and move in line with business demands
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn
- Able to work on own initiative, with management support and direction
- IT literate with the ability to use commonly used software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join this international organisation, to build and own your role, with a view to building the team around you over time.

You will be required on-site on at least a monthly basis, however they do offer a very flexible approach to working arrangements.

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience
