We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help us run our Community Managed Library with extended services.
Working in partnership with you and the community as a whole, we wish to further develop this fantastic facility, to help meet our communities needs.
We can’t do this without your help We need a bank of volunteers, to help run, to support and to develop this wonderful facility.

Today's libraries offer a wide range of facilities and activities as well as a great space to meet people, offering more than a opportunity to borrow books.
The Care and Fun Club charity with the help from our volunteers, have for the past 7 years worked at creating a library for tomorrow. Do you know any other library that has: theatre shows, music productions, quiz nights, plus a range of activities? In short we have created a new generation of Library, with scope to meet the needs of its changing community, a template for other libraries to follow.

If you have some spare time and an interest in Libraries and or community engagement, we would love to hear from you.

Ideally you will be able to Volunteer for a minimum of 1 shift per week, am or pm (approx. 4 hrs), Library open Mon - Saturday closed Wednesday and Sundays.

Various opportunities available, computer skills an advantage however, the ability to communicate and work on your own initiative is more important.

Based within Blythe Bridge Library we can offer a friendly and welcoming environment, with great opportunities to develop your personal skills.

The Care and Fun Club is a registered charity, supporting the local community.

Staffordshire County Council, support this initiative, we also work in partnership with many other groups and organisations including the NHS
