A fantastic opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology & engineering company within National Security. This client values innovation at their core, so if you've got the get-go and are technically curious - this role is for you

Working directly with customers to integrate and support highly critical live solutions developed by the wider project delivery team, you will be responsible for release procedures and performing deployment tasks. Supporting live systems by triaging issuesin production and contributing to the development road-map by providing insight to customer needs and priorities.
The project covers a wide range of technologies supporting multiple pipelines consisting of data ingest, data store clusters, Query APIs and UI Components to presenting data from those APIs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deploying APIs and UI components into a Kubernetes cluster
- Integrating API / UI components with existing data stores and APIs
- Maintaining and developing existing architectural components including Data Ingest, Data Stores and REST APIs
- Participating in sprint ceremonies with the agile team, attending daily stand-ups, epic decomposition, demos and planning sessions.

- Linux Sys Admin for deployed Clusters (10's of servers)
- Jenkins Pipeline development
- Integration / debugging

You will have the ability to perform appropriate software engineering using a number of languages and techniques, as well as an interest in and ability to learn new and emerging platforms, technologies, techniques and approaches. You will also be familiarwith Agile delivery, DevOps practices, software testing, and working with open source software.

Beyond your technical skills, you will be proactive and able to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will work well alone or as part of a team. You will be curious and seek out the best approach/solution/toolfor the job at hand.
