The Facilities Department are looking to recruit a number of hard-working enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly and dynamic Cleanliness Services Teams at Clatterbridge Hospitals.

The role of the Healthcare Cleaning Professional is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our hospital through achieving excellent cleaning standards that will provide a clean and safe healthcare environment that meets our patient’s expectations.
Various part time shifts, and hours are available.
Monday - Friday 6.30am-9.30am 15 hours, 3.00pm-7.00pm 20 hours 4.00pm-7.00pm 15 hours, 4.00pm-8.00pm 20 hours and 5.00pm-8.00pm 15 hours.
There will be a requirement to work Bank Holidays.
CSW Apprenticeship Pathway Opportunities
- "An exciting opportunity has been developed for Healthcare Cleaning Professional staff to progress within the Trust through an 18-month CSW apprenticeship pathway following 12 months employment as a Healthcare Cleaning Professional. (Further details will be provided during interview stage)"
Complete daily and weekly baseline cleaning tasks, including damp dusting, high level dusting, static mopping, damp mopping, suction cleaning and cleaning of sanitary areas
Complete all baseline cleanliness tasks in accordance with the Facilities Department Cleaning Methods and Standards document and the work schedules for each functional area
Replenish domestic supplies in all functional areas
Empty, clean and replenish waste bins
Prepare and serve beverages to patients in line with the work schedule, ensuring that the patients’ needs are met
Carry out wall washing as instructed, using appropriate equipment
Maintenance of external areas of the hospital site in line with the work schedule
Complete environmental cleaning, including infection prevention and control cleaning, in accordance with the Environmental Cleaning training document
Attend Education and Training Framework for cleanliness services to gain knowledge and skills required to be a fully competent Healthcare Cleaning Professional
Attend additional specialised cleaning training when required for the role
Attend necessary training in line with the Facilities Department refresher training requirements and the Trusts Mandatory Training matrix
