Davidsons of Morpeth is a family run franchised car dealer with facilities in Morpeth, Benton and Ashington. The company has successfully operated for over 40 years with a strong focus on outstanding service and customer care. The Company has grown two dealerships representing two manufacturers.

We are actively seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our professional team at our Morpeth site. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic, customer-focused team within a growing business.

As a Service Advisor you’ll be the first point of contact, handling all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs. You’ll use your knowledge of our product range, particularly Vauxhall and Volkswagen vehicles, to provide exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Advising customers on their service and vehicle repairs requirements in an efficient and professional manner.
- Co-ordinating with service technicians and workshop personnel to effectively managing scheduling of jobs.
- Controlling all computer-based jobs, invoicing processes, ensuring the financial interests of the customer and the company are protected.
- Letting customers know of any faults or repairs found on the vehicle and providing them with clear and accurate solutions.
- Maintaining customer records such as vehicle details and service histories accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining knowledge of aftersales products and services, upselling where appropriate.
- Making sure the customer database is updated and accurate at all times.

You will have the ability to multi-task and be highly adaptable in a fast paced environment. With strong communication and influencing skills and the ability and desire to be able to provide accurate and concise information to help our customers.

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills in order to schedule work effectively, balancing the needs of our customers and the capacity of the workshop.

With an ability to prioritise your workload, you will also have the willingness to work with defined processes and guidelines. You should have good core administration skills to accurately capture customer details to the required standards.

Clean driving licence required.

Remuneration:
The basic salary for this role is £24,500 per annum. However, with additional performance related bonuses, your on-target earnings can be up to £32,000 per annum.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, working 8.00 am to 5.30pm / 6.00pm and Saturdays on a rotational basis. You will be entitled to 30 days annual leave per annum, which includes recognised bank holidays. As a company, we offer free parking, a staff discount scheme and a contributory pension scheme.
