Beansprouts is a small nursery setting with a Montessori-inspired approach, prioritising learning through play. With a maximum capacity of 8 children, aged 6 months to 3 years, we provide a nurturing environment that encourages independence, exploration, and creativity. Our focus is on fostering a love for learning, with age-appropriate activities and materials tailored to each child's individual needs and interests. At Beansprouts, we believe in the power of play as a means of holistic development, creating a safe and stimulating space for children to thrive and grow. Nestled in a cosy setting, the atmosphere is warm and nurturing, fostering a sense of comfort and security for both children and parents.

The layout of Beansprouts has been carefully designed to encourage exploration and independence. The main play area is divided into carefully curated activity areas, each thoughtfully equipped with age-appropriate toys and materials. Low shelves showcase a diverse selection of stimulating educational toys, allowing children to easily access and choose activities that pique their interest.

The Montessori-inspired setup emphasises the importance of practical life skills. Tiny tables and chairs line one corner, where little ones can engage in activities like pouring, sorting, and setting the table, promoting independence and fine motor development.

We're also incredibly lucky to have a beautiful garden. The woodchip floor adds a natural touch, making it safe and comfortable for little feet to run around. The rainbow roof provides a colourful and inviting shelter, perfect for enjoying the outdoors no matter the weather.

To help connect to nature in the city our dedicated growing areas are where little green thumbs can nurture plants and learn about nature. Our sand and stone pits are perfect for getting the diggers out and building, dinosaurs can often be found laying eggs in our garden... We also love to get our bodies moving, whether it's climbing, ball throwing or scooting - we'll give it all a go.

Beansprouts Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of children aged 6 months to 3 years. We celebrate diversity and creating a safe space for all our families, this is key to our ethos our team. This is a dynamic position that requires creativity, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.

**What we need from you**:

- At least level 3 qualified in childcare or similar
- A nurturing, respectful and kind approach to childcare
- Previous experience working with children aged 6 months to 3 years in a nursery or early years setting
- Sound knowledge of child development theories, early years curriculum, and best practices in early childhood education
