The job itself
Required as soon as possible an enthusiastic, adaptable and caring person to work as a Lunchtime Supervisor for 1 hour 15 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, time term only. You will join an established team whose role is to provide a secure and safe environment for our students during the lunch break.

**Your duties will include**:
Helping to prepare dining area for lunch
Supervise collection of meals and assist with use of cutlery
Mop up and wipe spillage from the floor surface or meal tables
Escort children to and from the hall, promoting good behaviour
Be responsible for the behaviour of pupils during the lunch time period both indoors and outdoors
Ensure that health and safety practices and procedures affecting pupils and supervisory staff are maintained
Promote positive playtimes and helping children access games and outdoor equipment
Riverside School caters for children with special needs 5 - 19 and is a popular expanding school with a good Ofsted report which states ‘pupils’ receive outstanding care, guidance and support’.
Visits to view the school prior to the date of interview are encouraged.
