Newquay Beach Hotel is looking for a hardworking individual to join our reception team. This job will be based on a 2 night per week (9-hour shift on weekends) and include the opportunity for overtime.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests upon arrival in a friendly manner, and offer assistance where required.
- Serve drinks in the bar and lobby areas in compliance with Licensing Law regulations.
- Ensuring guest moves are dealt with following company procedures
- Deal with any unexpected situations efficiently and professionally, seeking help from the Manager on Call when necessary.
- To ensure that the needs of the business are considered at all times.

**Background**

The Newquay Beach Hotel is a luxury 4-star family-run hotel based in Newquay on the North coast of Cornwall. Overlooking Tolcarne beach, the restaurant, and select rooms are highlighted with great sea views. With around 40 guest rooms our small size allows us to offer modern standards of comfort and luxury with a more personal familiar touch.

The on-site "Feather Restaurant" hosts both breakfasts for on-site and off-site guests, as well as high-standard A La Carte dinner service accompanied by our bar menu including a mix of local and popular drinks on tap as well as high-quality hand-crafted cocktails, changed to fit seasonal focus and flavors.

Full training will be provided regarding duties. You will need to be confident, calm under pressure (in the event of a fire), and somewhat self-motivated.

Schedule
