This role is focused on insight, qualitative research, innovation, brand strategy, creative and design strategy. Insight -both-consumer & business, branding, brand development, brand creation, innovation, communications strategic and long[1]term innovationthrough to NPD, service innovation, portfolio and category strategy and commercial big brand ideas, brand story and positioning. This is a hands-on role, helping to win, running, leading and delivering projects as part of a team and growing both new and existingclients and projects. You will help to add value through being resourceful, creative and commercial. The role requires you to be organised with strong communication skills, a natural problem solver, looking for solutions and using a strong sense of initiative,creative thinking and commerciality. Leading and running, projects and programmes is a key element of this role, growing existing clients as well as helping to land and deliver new clients and projects. You will also be lead consultant on projects helpingclients with project direction, strategic direction, insightful analysis, bridging the gap between insight and design and creative strategy and directing business positioning and design projects through to completion and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for delivering ad hoc analytics and quant projects, timely & profitable delivery of brand and category projects, the research and analysis elements of larger pieces of work and some brand tracking programmes; frequently juggling anumber of different projects at the same time. You will be conversant in forecasting and predictive modelling techniques.
- You will ideally be competent in running statistical analysis in software such as SAS, SPSS, Q or R and Excel and may have experience of regression analysis, Conjoint, Drivers analysis, TURF, factor and cluster analysis and predictive data modelling. Experiencein building data models and fusing multiple data sources welcomed.
- You will be able to turn data into plain English and growth opportunities, articulating methods, processes, techniques and outputs to brand and marketing savvy audiences who may not be experts in analytics and modelling.
- The role will also include project set-up and management, reviewing secondary research sources, managing external suppliers, statistical and data analysis, creation of presentations, liaising with and presenting directly to clients.
- The role includes supporting new business activity by helping to identify opportunities and developing proposals. You will have a 'can do' attitude and be willing to get involved at lots of levels. As our quant and brand analytics practice evolves, so willthis role, with opportunities for early responsibility and rapid career advancement.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- You will have a minimum of 4 years' experience working in consumer brand insight within a research, insight, brand or innovation consultancy or agency.
- Previously worked/currently working in a quant analysis role, analysing complex and varied data from multiple sources (often we will be working with both primary and secondary qual and quant data), creating output and presenting to clients.
- Questionnaire design, script checking, writing tab specs, analysis briefs, data checking & manipulation, data analysis and interpretation, charting, reporting.
- You will be experienced in working across a number of international markets.
- You will be a team player, collaborating and working alongside colleagues with research design and proposal writing, project management and client liaison, supplier management and cost procurement.
- Creating stories out of the data.
- You will be highly organised with great attention to detail, whilst also being able to see the bigger picture.
- You will have an interest in business, commercial activities, finance and operational issues.
