Trainee Rigger

**Remuneration**: £10.50ph. With an increase to £11.00ph upon successful completion of a probationary period

In January 2020 TEP Machinery Movement Limited was acquired by SSV Limited. As part of this acquisition, we are currently undergoing a strategic investment programme having already taken delivery of our first fully electric JMG pick and carry crane, we also have a brand new fleet of specialist forklifts due for delivery along with a new transport and trailer fleet in the pipeline.
As such we are also looking for hardworking, self-motivated, and enthusiastic people to join our established, expanding team.

**The Role**:
Working throughout the UK, you will work as part of a team responsible for installing, relocating and positioning a wide variety of equipment. We work across a variety of industries so one week you maybe installing a new brewery or distillery and the next you may be negotiating a tight factory floor to position a
13T process skid. Depending on the individual job location there will be overnight stays and occasional weekends working as required offering regular overtime opportunities.
We are in the process of modernising our equipment to ensure we are able to offer the safest, most efficient and reliable service possible to our customers. This will also mean training you to use a wide variety of plant & equipment including high-capacity forklift trucks, pick & carry cranes and MEWPS along with a wide variety of other lifting equipment in our arsenal.
We will provide both internal and external training to ensure you are well equipped to carry out your role in the safest way possible.

- Regular overtimeof 1.5x pay after 8 hours and on Saturdays and 2.0xpay on Sundays. We also pay a minimum of 10 hours on days where an overnight stay is required allowing you the potential to increase your income by approximately 25-40%.

- Must be physically fit and enjoy working within a team
- Have experience operating plant and machinery such as forklift trucks
- Must have a full UK driving license
- Fluent in English
- Be reliable, courteous, and conscientious

**What would also be advantageous but not essential**:

- Current counterbalance forklift license
- HGV license
- Experience in a similar role.
- CPCS card
- IPAF or relevant MEWP training
- Slinger/signaller ticket
