A unique opportunity for a Cellar Hand to join Ridgeview, a multi award-winning English Sparkling Wine producer in Sussex. You’ll play a vital and vibrant role in our winery and gain unrivalled experience at the cutting edge of winemaking in this country.

**About the role**:
You’ll be working in a close-knit team, collaborating towards a common goal, and using your own laser sharp initiative. You’ll carry out racking and transfers, ferment inoculations and chaptalizing. There will be an exciting variety of winery operations with the opportunity to work with some of the most experienced sparkling Winemakers in the country. You’ll witness the process as part of our small, skilled and supportive team. You’ll pull together with general cellar work, tank and equipment cleaning, assisting in maintaining winery cleanliness, and most importantly, celebrate success together. This is a permanent role. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm.

**About You**:
You thrive in a team environment, are eager to learn and develop and are excited to bring your own skills and experience to Ridgeview. You will also ideally have the following experience:

- Are confident and comfortable with the tasks outlined above
- One harvest/vintage experience would be desirable.
- Experience in chemical sanitisation of tanks and equipment is an advantage

- Self-motivated and able to work within a team and independently
- This role includes safety critical tasks therefore a fit for task assessment will be required - adjustments will be considered where possible
- Subject to occupational health check
- Due to the location and role, a car driver is recommended
