Finops Consultant

Working within business analytics and modelling you will provide the expertise and structured thinking allowing you to develop innovative analytical solutions to complex business problems.

**The Role**:
As a FinOps Consultant, you'll be part of our Cloud Advisory team, helping organizations adopt cloud technology to create new business models, generate growth, and reduce carbon footprint. You'll advise clients on cloud economics and value realization frameworks, processes, and solutions to optimize their cloud consumption and maximize value.

Key responsibilities include leading work streams, producing high-quality deliverables, designing and leading projects, contributing to the growth of the consulting practice, and consulting sales.

You'll need experience in FinOps, cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP), IT procurement, and billing/metering for cloud platforms. You should also have a good understanding of cloud cost optimization techniques, contracting models, Dev-Sec-Ops, and cloud-based operations.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience working on FinOps projects and initiatives
- Setting up Cloud FinOps CoEs and governance models for large or mid-sized organizations
- Working with IT procurement teams and one or more cloud vendors
- Good understanding of cloud cost optimization techniques and billing/metering for cloud platforms
- Knowledge of cloud contracting, commitment, licensing models, cloud strategies, Dev-Sec-Ops, and cloud-based operations
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organization and enlist support from peers in delivering consulting solutions
- Cloud practitioner certified
- Consulting or advisory experience with clients
