**About the role**

You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of ISPS Security to DFDS Seaways and logistics
- Working Monday - Sunday, 4 on 4 off with additional cover over the week
- Usually 12 hours per shift but can be vary
- Controlling access to Port Facility (including collaboration with ABP) as required
- Perform routine checks including; ship’s cargo, speed checks, searching (persons, vehicles & cargo), fence line checks (perimeter and internal), trailer checks, gate-lock checks, substation checks, conveyor checks, ID checks, full terminal patrols
- Monitoring of restricted areas to ensure only authorised persons have access
- Security patrols are completed by Foot and Mobile.

**About you**

You will need to have a minimum of 5 years Security/Police/Military experience, good written and verbal communication skills, IT literate, used to lone working and able to work on your own initiative.

To be considered, you must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
