**Job brief**

We are looking for a Stock Controller to work within our Procurement and Planning Team.

Working within a busy department you will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for ensuring that stock is reconciled in an efficient manner, whilst ensuring the smooth flow of operations.

**Responsibilities**
- To create daily stock reconciliations using a variety of data streams
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies discovered in the reconciliations
- Ensure that cycle counts are completed on a regular basis for stock
- Training personal on the controls surrounding the management of stock
- Reconciliation of external storage on a daily basis
- Communication of issues to senior management on a daily basis

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience working within a production environment
- Sound knowledge of stock analysis, production and dispatch
- Degree level qualification in a relevant related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong IT skills and an ability to record and present information in a concise format.
- A driven and flexible approach to work to meet the needs of the business and the role is essential.
- The ability to work well under pressure and to play your role in a busy team environment.
- Excellent communicator with positive leadership skills.
