Water Treatment Engineer/plumber

Our client is an established water treatment company. Due to current business needs, they are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join their team based in or around the Reading area. Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on bothhot and cold systems, Temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, Cooling tower cleans, and various plumbing works. Applications from Farnborough, Guildford, Basingstoke, and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.
Qualifications & experience:
The successful applicant must have extensive experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment industry.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene legislation and procedures.
Will hold City and Guilds plumbing qualification
Possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft office package.
Key Tasks:
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers and acid descales.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems, and interpreting the results.
Undertaking cooling tower cleans.
A variety of plumbing work including TMVs, servicing, and pipework.
Doing Water Tank Installations and varied remedial works.
Completing paperwork for works carried out.
