Cardiorespiratory Admin Coordinator

Do you want to help develop referral pathways and booking systems for Cardiorespiratory appointments in a new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with experience working in an administrator role within the NHS. This new role will be instrumental in ensuring the referral pathways and booking systems are structured, in a way to maximize the extra capacity provided by the CDCs in Selby and Askham Bar. The idea is this will provide a 'one stop shop' service for patients, which will be greatly beneficial for timely diagnosis and patient satisfaction.
We need someone who is able to write SOP's and develop a comprehensive system to ensure the patient pathway works efficiently. This may require some visits to the offsite locations.
Develop SOP's and booking systems for the new CDC sites
Review all patient letters and create new ones where appropriate
Continue to maximize capacity in all Cardiorespiratory clinics
Liaise with the Referral Support Service (RSS) and GP Practices
Report and liaise with management to identify capacity shortfalls against demand, and take remedial action when necessary
Attend meetings, for active engagement to support Cardiorespiratory clinic utilization and pathway development
