Cbt Therapist or Psychotherapist for Children/yp

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced **Child & Adolescent** **CBT therapist, Psychotherapist or Counsellor**; to work within our team part time seeing clients face to face.

**We are offering a ready-made private practice role, in a supportive professional team. **Working with children and young people, working face to face in Malvern, Worcestershire **at flexible times that suit you.**

**We are an established private practice, offering wrap around business and admin support. This enables you to focus fully on the clinical work while we bring in referrals, offer a room and admin support, and be on hand while you develop your own flourishing clinical practice.**

You will be able to see clients with problems such as anxiety, grief, depression and trauma. Training in EMDR is a bonus but not essential.

We provide wrap around practice management support including initial client triage through self-referral forms and taking payments for initial sessions, online bookings, online diary, advertising, websites plus dedicated website page, room rental, desktop computer, all IT and many more benefits. We have a Practice Manager (IT specialist), a Psychology Secretary and a Clinical Director on hand for support. We pay £50 per client session (1 hour) (depending on self funding or insurance).

We ask for a commitment of a minimum of 8 - 10 clients a week (which can fit into 2 days). This can be provided evening, weekend of daytimes to suit you, or spread over a number of days. Working hours and days are flexible, dependent on room availability. This is only a face to face role.

This can go up to 15+ clients a week if you would like to work more days. We have plenty of ongoing new clients and can provide you with the number of weekly clients you desire.

We are well established with local GPs sending us clients as well as self referrals. We average 15 new referrals per week and most of our 10 Therapists are presently full, so we have lots of ongoing stable work for you. The referrals come from the YouTube channel with Dr Abigail Pamich, local GP networks, established networks with local universities and colleges. On average we receive new 166 self referrals per quarter.

**This is an ideal package if you want to focus on clinical work, without expending energy, time and money on the business setup and ongoing admin side of private practice.**

**Who we are**:

- Malvern Hills Private_ _Practice_ offers rapid access to highly qualified Practitioners in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, EMDR, Psychotherapy and Couple Counselling. The practice has a strong internet presence, ranking number one in local Google searches. New referrals are frequent, with local GPs and Health Insurance agencies making private recommendations, as well as individuals self-referring.

This is a contract position, on an hourly consultancy basis, with a 2 month notice period.

**Job Purpose**
- Independent and accountable for your own professional practice in the delivery of psychological interventions
- A qualified and experienced CBT therapist, Psychotherapist or Counsellor
- The service focuses on providing practical, professional therapy.
- To be professional, compassionate and provide evidence
- based interventions. To be reliable, punctual with good attention to details.
- To have membership of the HCPC (or relevant association) and have professional indemnity insurance and an enhanced DBS check.
- This post can be undertaken alongside other positions (i.e. it could be done 2 days a week alongside an NHS role, or a weekend if preferred, whatever suits)
