We have an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Advisor to join our team at our Wirral centre to provide comprehensive advice and help people access available benefits and other sources of financial help.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will advise and help people access available benefits and other sources of financial help, assisting in the completion of benefits claims, and maximising an individual’s income.
- You will provide comprehensive advice on benefits using a variety of different mechanisms.
- You will be able to work using your initiative to effectively manage a busy caseload, working, when necessary, in partnership with other agencies when handling complex cases.

The role can be emotionally intense at times, and you should be emotionally sensitive whilst also resilient in order to manage these demands.
