An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outpatients Receptionist on a 12 month fixed term working Monday to Thursday working 0800-1600/ 0830-1630/ 0900-1700 depending on rota requirement supporting 30 hours to be based within the Outpatient Directorate at our County site.

This is a varied role involving meeting and greeting patients and booking into clinic, preparing the paperwork ready for clinic and completing the outcomes so patients are booked in accordance with consultants request.

Team building skills are imperative, as is the need to be self motivated with the ability to use your own initiative as and when necessary

Checking in patients and ensuring demographics are correct

Directing patient to the correct area in order to see the Consultant/ Nurse

Prepping the paperwork in order for the Consultants to advise on the best care for the patients

Completing the outcomes following clinics to ensure the patient is either discharged from clinic or adding to the correct follow waiting list so any further follow ups can be arranged in time order following Consultants advise
