We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team who will be responsible for administering all aspects of Purchase Ledger.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Processing of Purchase Orders - validation, coding, inputting and distribution to suppliers.
- Conversion of Purchase Orders to Purchase Invoices - matching Invoices, Delivery Notes and resolution of Purchase Invoice queries.
- Validation of Operational Purchase Orders ensuring that Gross Margin targets are achieved.
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements.
- Preparation of monthly supplier payments.
- Processing Company Expense submissions - validation of expenses in line with Company Expense Policy, checking receipts and obtaining Line Manager authorisation.
- Processing Mileage Logs, checking receipts and obtaining Line Manager authorisation
- Processing Company Credit Card Statements - validation of expenditure in line with Purchase Order Policy and Company Expense Policy, checking invoices and receipts and obtaining FD authorisation.
- Responsible for Petty Cash distribution and reconciliation.
- Distribution of purchase ledger and expenses remittance advice notes.
- Posting journals and assisting with month end.
- Liaison with internal departments as and when required.
- Provide holiday/absence cover for other members of the team as required.

**Essential Skills**
- Previous experience of working for an SME within a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Confident individual that is able to work on their own initiative, but is also a good team player.
- Advanced Excel Skills.

This role will be office based at our Head Office in Dudley and will benefit from a competitive salary and Company benefits.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
