Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Grounds Semi Skilled Operative** **to join their team based in the London area.

**JOB DETAILS**
- PAY RATE: £21.42 per hour
- WORK TYPE: Temporary
- WORK PATTERN: Full Time
- LOCATION: London

**JOB SUMMARY**

To carry out gardening and horticultural maintenance to horticultural features, grass areas and natural features, to give a high quality service that delivers cleaner, safer and well maintained site and excellent customer service.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

- Assist with the maintenance of ornamental areas and features to include; shrubs & shrub beds, roses & rose beds, hedges and natural features; (Bulb Plantings, Wildflower meadows and areas of biodiversity).
- Assist with maintenance of grass areas to include mowing, edging, and renovation tasks.
- As directed undertake the control of unwanted herbage in horticultural features and hard landscape areas.
- Willing to work outside in all weathers providing it is deemed safe to do so and the appropriate PPE is provided.
- To ensure all equipment and machinery in your charge are secured during working hours.
- To undertake such training as required to a) maintain a suitable skill set, b) develop additional skills to assist in higher level activities as required.

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**
- Hold and maintain a valid Driving License.
- Experience in Ground Maintenance/horticulture.
- Own Vehicle to get to site desirable.
