We are looking for an inventory clerk for our client on a temp to perm basis.

previous inventory clerk experience a must and Red Prairie knowledge advantageous but not essential.

Night shift Sunday to Thursday 2200pm-0600am

To assist in the management of the Inventory function. To ensure all associated inventory checks are carried out in line with business expectations and KPI’s. To assist the operation in reducing the level and volume of stock adjustments and picking errors. To work within customer SLA’s (stock holding, PI levels, Adjustments)
- PI Counts - Ensure that PI counts are completed in a timely and accurate manner in line with KPI measurements, and the relevant reports are completed following each count.
- Suspense Investigations - To carry out investigations as required in a timely manner, ensuring investigations have relevance to the discrepancy.
- Stock Adjustments - To adjust the stock file as required ensuring that the relevant checks have been completed and take accountability for ensuring the adjustment is a true reflection of the situation and can be audited accordingly.
- Credit Checks/General queries - To complete checks as requested by colleagues in a timely manner and respond in the agreed timescales.
- Unlocked/ Locked / Empty Bin Checks - Checks are carried out in line with agreed schedules, with discrepancies then investigated in a timely manner.
- Warehouse Management Tasks - To carry out product verification as required on new lines into the warehouse. To have responsibility for management of the pick runs on a day to day basis, in conjunction with the warehouse managers and the Inventory Supervisor.
- Customer returns - To process customer returns in a timely manner as required.

To complete other tasks as required on the request of the - Inventory supervisor including supporting them in their roles.
- Pro-active approach, and regularly contributes ideas and suggestions to help move the department forward. Actively finding solutions to deal with day-to-day issues as they arise.

**Experience and Additional Requirements**

Previous management experience within Inventory departments

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Red Prairie

FLT licence desirable.
