Steel Fabricator

We are looking for someone to join our small team manufcaturing specialist polytunnels in Settle, North Yorkkshire.

Working hours are flexible once training has been provided.

Pay will be dependent on experience. Contract or self-employed options.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques, including stick welding and welding with power tools.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions.
- Inspect and test completed products for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow guidance and health and safety instructions.
- Pick and pack finished products ready for delivery.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in stick welding and other welding techniques.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Able to follow a job list and work under own initiative.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 37 per week
