We are an established organisation with a workforce of over 3,000 and offer the tools, independence, and training needed for you to be successful both in your new role and broader career.
- As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in leading, managing, and motivating small teams while handling various tasks related to office furniture and equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass moving, relocating, and installing office furniture and other items both internally and externally, to new premises, recycling centres, or storage facilities.
- Various contracted hours are available each week, with each day spanning 9 hours. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and that's why we provide your work schedule 2 weeks in advance. This allows you to plan your time effectively and ensure that your work fits seamlessly into your life.
- **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead, manage, and motivate small teams of personnel
- Operate company vehicles as permitted by entitlements
- Oversee the technical aspects of decommissioning and commissioning of furniture and/or IT equipment, including team management during installations
- Maintain strict compliance with company policies and legislative requirements
- Promote and uphold the core standards and values of the company
- Assist in the management of external contractors during deliveries
- Provide education, training, and development to team members, emphasising best practices, quality, and standards

**ABOUT YOU**
- Full UK driving license
- IOSH Working Safely or equivalent (desirable)
- Emergency First Aid at Work (desirable)
- Asbestos Awareness
