**Cat C1 Driver**

**Base-** Working out of Tipton/Oldbury, delivering throughout UK

**Reporting to** - Site Manager

**Overview of role**:

- Safe, secure, effective, timely and correct delivery and collection of products.

**Main Job Duties-**

A. Load your vehicle and ensure products are stacked, protected and secured safely.

B. Ensure your vehicle is not overloaded prior to commencing a journey.

C. Ensure that the consignment is clearly identified (labelled or marked) and accompanied by delivery documents in line with company Quality Procedures.

D. Effective and courteous liaison with customers on -site.

E. Make sure that customer satisfaction is a priority and ensure on-time and in full deliveries.

F. Provide timely notification of any problems or delays that may cause customer dissatisfaction.

G. Timely reporting of any mechanical faults to the vehicle that needs attention.

H. Timely reporting of any customer concerns or any changes they or you feel may improve the service we provide.

I. Raise and install as necessary the tachograph discs (where tachograph is fitted) returning completed tachograph discs to the administrator’s daily/weekly.

J. Undertake vehicle checks

**Qualifications/Training held**
- Cat C1 Licence
- UK Driving Licence
- Manual Handling
