Following significant growth across the business we have created some new roles within our Transport team to ensure the smooth running of the transport function. We are recruiting for two Debrief Coordinators to work alongside our Transport Supervisors and who will be responsible for ensuring our 130+ drivers receive a comprehensive debrief at the end of each shift, as well as ensuring all driver duties are completed on their return to the yard.

Hours of work - 11am - 8pm, 5 days across 7 (some weekend working)

The role is new and will evolve as we move forward but your typical duties will include:

- Ensuring all returning vehicles are up to our vehicle hygiene standards ensuring that all drivers are adhering to all rubbish removed from the vehicles and stickers removed from all trays.
- Carrying out a visual vehicle check and reporting any damage.
- Ensuring returning stock is placed in the correct areas in the warehouse.
- Complete returning tray and trolley counts ensuring all equipment is returned and accounted for.
- Ensure HGV driver and vehicle downloads are completed as required.
- Making sure all customer keys issued in the morning are returned and accounted for.
- Ensure H&S compliance for drivers and drivers mates.
- Monitor transport systems to ensure legal compliance.
- Work with dispatch coordinators to ensure all people processes are planned and/or carried out including investigations and return to work meetings.
- Ensure any vehicle accidents are reported in a timely manner and that accident investigations are completed and escalated.

We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be communicating with a wide range of personalities, along with the following:

- Experience working in a transport function.
- Confident MS Excel user.
- Experience with Transport Management Systems (no preference on which as full training will be provided).
- A sound understanding of Working Time Directive and Driver Hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to develop and grow.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage your own time while using initiative.
- Attention to detail is vital.
- Ability to work in a calm manner in a fast-paced, highly pressured environment.
- Willingness to work outside, whatever the weather (Uniform and waterproofs provided for rainy days)
