**Product & Purchasing Executive
**We are proud to be working in partnership with British Airways Holidays on the recruitment of a Product & Purchasing Executive within their busy and friendly Commercial team, based near Gatwick. As a Product & Purchasing Executive the key purpose ofthe role is to contribute to the selection, sourcing, buying, and commercial management of the British Airways Holidays product portfolio to achieve and exceed business targets. This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone with some experience in a product, purchasingor commercial role within the travel industry looking to develop their skills and work for one of the UK's leading tour operators.

**Product & Purchasing Executive - Role & Responsibilities**:

- Develop the product strategy & sourcing approach for designated destinations to ensure British Airways Holidays have the right product on sale at the right price.
- Buy the product to deliver the strategy and ensure optimal commercial terms for BA Holidays.
- Ensuring all product meets British Airways Holidays brand standards including quality and health & safety.
- Manage supplier relationships to optimise commercial opportunities.
- Manage commercial performance of designated destinations including analysing booking data and web analytics, reviewing and responding to competitor analysis and inventory reports.
- Identify opportunities for and support with the implementation of PR, promotional, & other marketing activity.
- Be the first point of contact for contract queries and support the Customer contact teams with operational queries.

**Product & Purchasing Executive - Role & Responsibilities**:

- This is a busy, hands-on role and someone with experience in a buying or commercial role within the travel industry is preferred but not essential.
- This role requires an excellent communicator who can influence others and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills. Product Executives manage their own destinations (with support from a Product Manager) so they are looking for someone with excellent commercialacumen who can manage their own supplier relationships and product portfolio.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to analyse data, understand and respond to trends are also musts.
- This role involves travel overseas and representing British Airways Holidays at supply/trade functions.

**Product & Purchasing Executive - Additional Information**:

- A typical salary in this role is around £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (this may vary depending on your relevant skills and experience), plus benefits.
- Monday to Friday - 9 to 5.30
- Hybrid working, with two days a week in the office, plus flexible start and finish times.
